What’s A “Naked” Hoop?

Every popular hobby develops its own inside jargon-terms known and used by those who get deeply involved in an activity.

Hooping is no different. It has its own language too.

Here are some of the terms used by hoopers “in the know”:

  • Hoop jam-a gathering of hooppers
  • Hoopapalooza-a real big gathering of hoopers
  • Hoop convergence-The center of the hooping universe
  • Hoop busker-Street performer who entertains by hooping

And our favorite, ‘naked hoop“-A hoop that has not yet been decorated.
